Elden Ring is a hard game, but it has large-scale features when it comes to its world and exploration, so it does make sense that how you want to compete and tackle the game is really up to you. It is highly encouraged that players carefully assess the situation that lies ahead and find different ways to deal with it. This also provides good camaraderie within the community so that everyone can share their experiences and help each other.

STARTING OF ELDEN RING:

At the game’s opening, you can craft a character, keeping with the series tradition. It has 10 character classes to choose from: Vagabond, Warrior, Hero, Bandit, Astrologer, Prophet, Samurai, and Prisoner. Players can choose their name, age, body type, class, and physical appearance. After you escape a small cave, you can learn swordplay, shield-blocking, and magic. You're walking and enjoying the view of green hills and golden trees. After a while, suddenly, a masked man comes up to you and says, "You're worthless because you don't have a partner." Then, he suggests you “go and die in a ditch.” As you start walking down some stone steps towards a forest, a knight riding a golden horse comes out of nowhere and attacks you very violently.

INTERVIEW WITH HIDETAKA MIYAZAKI :

In the trailer revealed at E3 2021, we see many unique skills, magical abilities, and even a horse leaping up a cliffside, as well as attacking while riding your Mount. These are skills that you can pick up through player progression and exploration. In a special case, a player can acquire a skill by purchasing it from merchants or learning them from an NPC. However, during an interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki that was featured, he stresses that, in general, skills are hidden throughout the game's world, and it is the player's responsibility to discover these through exploration.

Elden Ring has a rich story, enchanting landscapes, and the efforts that went into its creation. But it's not limited to a customizable character; it also has multiple endings, currently six known, that are determined by players’ choices, pitiless difficulty, and an explorable world. Furthermore, the truth behind this game’s story and characters is largely left up to the players’ imagination and analysis. The game not only appealed to already devoted fans of the Soulsborne franchise but also new audiences who enjoyed all kinds of open-world RPG dark fantasy games and lovers of fantasy.

BEHIND THE STORY OF ELDEN RING:

Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional realm where several demigods rule. Previously, it was ruled over by Queen Marika, who acted as the keeper of the Elden Ring. Suddenly, when Marika shattered the Elden Ring and disappeared, her demigod children began fighting over land pieces of the Ring in an event called The Shattering. Each demigod has a shard of the Ring called a Great Rune, which corrupts power with them. In the game, the player character is a Tarnished, one of a group of exiles from the Lands Between who are summoned back after the Shattering. The player must traverse the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.

THE REASON BEHIND FOR BEING POPULAR:

FromSoftware, the developer behind Elden Ring, has a dedicated fanbase due to its previously critically acclaimed titles like Dark Souls, Bloodborne. These games are known for their challenging gameplay, intricate level design, and deep lore, which has built anticipation for Elden Ring. Favorable reviews from the media helped spread interest in the game.

- Players feel like they're exploring a world rather than just playing a game, with each corner hiding unique vistas, secret lore, and unexpected enemies.

- Players enjoy the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes from overcoming obstacles in challenging games.

- The game has a fascinating narrative that players can uncover themselves.

- The game has an in-depth and easy-to-understand combat system.
